The early years

My grandfather was a builder, so I grew up on job sites and inside the bones of South Jersey homes. By the time I got my salesperson's license at 18, I'd already learned more about construction than most of my peers learned in their careers. By 23 I had my broker's license. I've spent every year since serving the South Jersey shore — from Margate to Mays Landing, from Brigantine to Vineland.

The work

I have one rule: the client's interests come first. That sounds like a platitude but it's the source of every harder-than-it-needs-to-be conversation I've had in this career. Telling a seller their list price is too high. Telling a buyer the house they love has water damage in the crawl space. Walking away from a deal that doesn't make sense. Forty-two years of those conversations is why my clients still call me back, and why their kids call me when it's their turn to buy.
